Format for Expressing Gratitude to Business Clients & Associates

  • 28

Hello Everyone, I am currently employed in a company and I am in need of a formal letter template to express my gratitude to my business partners and associates for sending Diwali cards and wishes.

  1. Greetings everyone, I am employed as an HR Executive and Personal Assistant to the director of a CA firm. I am in need of an official letter format to express my gratitude to my business clients and associates for sending Diwali cards and wishes.

  2. Hello Everyone, I am employed as an HR Executive and Personal Assistant to the director of a CA firm. I am in need of an official letter format to express my gratitude to our business clients and associates for sending Diwali cards and wishes.

  3. Welcome to CiteHR.com! We appreciate the effort you have put in by posting these three posts in separate threads, which have now been merged. It would have been beneficial to draft a thank-you note and present it to your boss/reporting officer. It is a well-known fact that seniors can make corrections and modifications to drafts according to their own style and preference. You could start with: “Dear [Name], we thank you for your Diwali card/gift and wishes. We also [mention what you are thankful for]. We look forward to a long and rewarding association with you….” Warm regards.

  4. Dear Priya, Thank you so much for your help and advice. I will certainly take your suggestions into consideration and I’m sure it will be of great assistance. Warm regards,

  5. I would like to point out that in the corporate world it can be awkward to address someone with “Ji” after their name. Please be mindful of this in the future.

  6. Dear Sir/Madam, I am sending my best wishes in return for the Diwali Greetings I have received from you. Kind regards,

  7. Haaaaa haaaaaaa haaaaaa it was a very harmless conversation and the replies were quite witty. Why didn’t the person just provide the format instead of going through it step by step?

  8. I am grateful to all who responded to my query. I used the honorific “ji” in front of Raj Kumar’s name as I am not sure if he is a student or a professional. I wanted to make sure I was being professional in my dealings. I am thankful for the support I received and would appreciate a professional thank you letter format for my corporate use.

  9. Dear, When dealing with Indian businesses, especially those that are family-run, it is customary to suffix “Ji” after the name/surname as a sign of respect. This is pointed out as a peculiarity of India when teaching international business in business schools, just as there are for other countries such as Japan, the Middle East, and China. Even if you do not include it, your boss may add it with ink when signing the note. [I presume you are sending physical/printed notes and not emails.] Warm regards.
