I am a new graduate and I recently signed a job offer letter that contains the date of joining, job location and salary. I would like to pursue further education, however the letter states that by signing and dating the letter I accept the job offer of a Sales Engineer with ABC Company. Could you please provide me with some guidance on this matter as I am unfamiliar with the process?

If you attended the interview, why did you accept the offer letter? Making the decision to pursue higher education is a well thought out process. Why did you come to this conclusion after accepting the offer letter? How can you be so inconsistent? Not joining the company would be a letdown for them. Think about if the company had done the same thing to you, such as issuing an offer letter and then withdrawing it.
