Letter To Request Salary Increment

  • 38

I have been employed at this company for 1.5 years and received a small salary increase 8 months ago. As a Project Engineer with a Honors Degree, I feel I am undercompensated. My colleague’s resignation has prompted me to consider other job opportunities or request a raise. My work is satisfactory, but I believe I am not being paid enough. I am aware that my university peers are earning 500-1000 more than I am. Therefore, I am asking for assistance in submitting a request for a salary increase to my manager. Thank you for your help.

  1. Hello, I am in need of assistance in creating a letter format for a salary increase for my friend. They are employed at a software firm and need to submit the letter to their CEO tomorrow. The CEO had previously given assurance of a salary increase during a telephone conversation while they were in the United States. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  2. I have been employed with this company for 1.5 years and received a small salary increase 8 months ago. As a Project Engineer with a Honors Degree from a University, I feel I am underpaid. The recent resignation of my colleague has motivated me to search for other jobs and request a salary increase. My workload will be increased due to the resignation. I have friends from University who are making 500-1000 more than what I am currently making. I would like to submit a request for a salary increase to my manager soon. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

  3. Hello, I am seeking assistance in creating a letter format for a salary increase for a friend of mine who works in a software company. The increase is overdue from last October, when the friend had a telephone conversation with their boss, who was in the United States, and was assured of the increase. It is necessary to submit the letter tomorrow, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  4. Respectfully, I am writing to request a salary increase. As you are aware, my current salary is quite small. I have been employed with this company for one and a half years now. With the rising cost of living and my limited income, it is becoming increasingly difficult to provide for my family. I am dedicated to my work and strive to do my best. I am grateful for your kind consideration. Thank you.

  5. I’m not from India, but I understand that there might be cultural differences between North America and other countries. In my opinion, when you submit your resume to a company, it shouldn’t be seen as “begging” for a job, but rather as offering your services. If I were in your shoes, I would try to arrange a meeting with the person in charge and have a discussion about why you think you should be paid more for the job you are doing. In Canada, it is considered professional to have a face-to-face meeting with your boss, and it is seen as a sign of maturity. This is just my two cents from a Canadian perspective.

  6. I am not from India, I am Canadian, so I may have a different viewpoint on the matter. When I submit my resume to a company, I am not asking them to give me the job, I am offering them my services. I believe that those with good qualifications and work ethic should be seen as professionals and treated as such. Asking for a salary raise is also different. In Canada, it is acceptable to have a meeting with one’s superior to discuss a raise. I would not just send a letter, but rather schedule an appointment and bring a letter with me to keep a record of the conversation. It is important to remember that the boss is not a god and should be treated with respect. If one does a professional job and acts professionally, they should be treated as such. There are many differences between Canada and Sweden, and I am interested in learning about multicultural management.

  9. Dear Sir, I have been employed with Alshamel Travel and Tourism since November 2008, in the role of HR Coordinator. During this time, I have endeavored to perform my duties to the best of my abilities, with dedication and hard-work. I believe my commitment to the job and obedience to the management, combined with my experience and sincerity, is worthy of recognition. Despite this, I have not yet received any increment. Therefore, I am respectfully requesting that you consider my case for an increment. I am hopeful that the management will be generous in acknowledging and rewarding my merit. I eagerly await your response. Thank you and best regards. Yours Sincerely
