Notice Letter for an Employee Who Has Not Reported For More Than one Month

  • 44

Greetings everyone, I am in need of assistance in comprehending the legal requirements for sending a notice to an employee who has not reported for over a month. It has been rumored that they have joined another company. Is it permissible to immediately send a letter of termination or should a series of notices be sent first? The employee is still in the probationary period and not yet confirmed. Even though this letter may not have any effect on the individual who has left, I would like to close the file in the proper way. I would appreciate any advice. Thank you.

  1. I understand your issue. To start, you should send a telegram to his current and permanent address, informing them that you will be absent from duty from a certain date. If you receive any response, that is great. If not, you should proceed with the termination of your services from the same date as per the terms of the appointment letter (according to company policy, termination from duty for misbehavior or extended absenteeism can occur at any time). Send a termination letter to the same address and complete the no dues form or clearance certificate from all relevant departments. Please let me know if you have any further queries. Regards
